WonderWorks is excited to host Sensory Days! WonderWorks’ exhibits are altered to provide limited stimulation for children with special needs. The music in the facility is lowered, any loud exhibit is not operational and we stop our inversion tunnel creating a safe environment for kids to enjoy the facility without feeling overwhelmed.

C’mon Live a Little!   Bring your crew to Gatlinburg this coming MLK weekend!   This 2-day 8v8 tournament at Rocky Top Sports World is open to Adult Soccer teams only.   The Moonshine Cup will offer multiple divisions, awards for 1st and 2nd place, quality officiating, good competition, a 3 game minimum, and online scoring.   Friday night will feature a team mixer, walking soccer (futsal) and live music hosted by Ole Smoky Moonshine at the Rocky Top Sports World Field House!  

The Moonshine Cup is an “8v8” adult tournament sanctioned by TSSA and USASA

Watch and cheer as  athletes strive for the gold in their annual Winter Games competition.

Special Olympics athletes from around the state are waxing their skis and snowboards, and sharpening their ice skate blades in preparation for the Special Olympics Tennessee Winter Games to be held January 26-28 at Ober Gatlinburg.

Over 150 athletes with intellectual disabilities will compete in Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding and Speed Skating in divisions based on age and ability.

The Winter Games competition is being conducted by The Gatlinburg Snow Sports Center (Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding); Ober Gatlinburg Ice Skating Rink (Ice Skating); and Ober Gatlinburg.

The Cades Cove Preservation Association in conjunction with the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center are proud to present the 2020 Winter Heritage Festival.

Join us on Friday and Saturday January 24th & 25th for a Free series of presentations by the Cades Cove Preservation Association located in the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center’s Auditorium. Local Historians will share the stories and tales that created our past.

A Cast Iron Lunch will also available for $10 on Saturday. (Beans, Greens, Cornbread, Cobbler, and a Drink) Cash Only.
