From late August through early November, the mountaintop park transforms into an autumn wonderland filled with colorful decorations, seasonal entertainment, Bavarian-inspired flavors, and some of the best views of fall foliage in East Tennessee.

Guests can stroll through beautifully decorated villages featuring pumpkins, scarecrows, seasonal displays, and countless photo opportunities while taking in panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains dressed in brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold.

As daylight fades, the mountain comes alive with festive lighting, creating a magical atmosphere that combines the beauty of autumn with whimsical Halloween-inspired touches.

Bavarian Flavors & Seasonal Brews

The festival brings Oktoberfest-inspired flavors to the Smokies with a variety of seasonal food offerings. Guests can enjoy giant pretzels, bratwurst, schnitzel, Black Forest-inspired treats, and other fall favorites available throughout the park.

For visitors 21 and older, the optional Bear Tasting Card offers the opportunity to sample selections from local and regional craft breweries while enjoying spectacular mountain scenery.
