Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year during Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas, returning to Pigeon Forge from November 6, 2026, through January 3, 2027. This beloved Smoky Mountains holiday tradition transforms Dollywood into a glowing winter wonderland filled with more than six million twinkling lights, dozens of towering Christmas trees and festive decorations around every corner.
Each area of the park offers its own colorful Christmas atmosphere. Walk through the traditional red and green displays of Santa’s Village, admire the crisp blue and white lights of Glacier Ridge and experience the warm candlelight glow of Craftsman’s Valley. Families can also explore the new Peppermint Valley in Country Fair, where cheerful holiday decorations add even more seasonal magic to Dollywood’s award-winning rides and attractions.
As evening arrives, Wildwood Grove comes alive during Snow in the Grove. This immersive nighttime experience features glowing Roly Poly characters and the spectacular Wildwood Tree surrounded by a kaleidoscope of music, colorful lights and falling snow.
Dollywood’s stages will be filled with heartwarming Christmas entertainment throughout the festival. Returning favorites include “Christmas in the Smokies,” “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas,” “Appalachian Christmas” and “O Holy Night.” On select weekends, families can end their day with Merry & Bright, Holiday Light!, a festive fireworks presentation choreographed to familiar Christmas music.
The celebration also includes seasonal shopping, hearty holiday dishes and plenty of Christmas sweets. Guests can sample festival foods throughout the park or purchase a Smoky Mountain Christmas Tasting Pass to enjoy several seasonal selections for one price. Additional experiences, including the Smoky Mountain Christmas Guided Tour, may also be available for guests interested in reserved seating, character interactions and special holiday treats.
