Families and guests with sensory sensitivities can enjoy a more comfortable aquarium experience during Sensory Night at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.
Presented in partnership with the Champion Autism Network, these specially designed evenings feature welcoming lighting, a music-free environment and a quiet room where guests can take a break when needed. Visitors can explore the aquarium’s fascinating marine exhibits at their own pace in a more sensory-conscious setting.
Noise-canceling headphones and sensory bags are available free of charge from Guest Services on a first-come, first-served basis. Aquarium admission is included, and guests can receive $3 off general admission by mentioning “Sensory Events” when purchasing their tickets.
