Get ready for sparks to fly at the second annual Smoky Mountain Forging Festival, happening October 17–19, 2025, at Smoky Mountain Knife Works in Sevierville, TN! This three-day celebration of craftsmanship is a must for blacksmithing enthusiasts, outdoor lovers, and families alike.
Presented in partnership with Iron Mountain Metal Craft, the event features live blacksmithing demonstrations, hands-on forging opportunities, and even free forging activities just for kids! Whether you're a seasoned smith or simply curious about the art of blade and tool making, this festival is packed with skill, tradition, and fiery fun.
The festival runs full days on Friday and Saturday, with a special half-day session wrapping up the weekend on Sunday. Bring the whole family for an unforgettable experience celebrating Appalachian heritage and artisan skill.
Admission is free, and no registration is required. Come early and plan to stay awhile—there’s plenty to see, do, and forge!
