For more than 30 years, the Smoky Mountain Music Festival has provided elementary, middle, and high school music groups with an unforgettable performance experience in East Tennessee. This nationally recognized festival welcomes student musicians to showcase their talents in a professional, educational, and inspiring environment.
Held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the festival features adjudicated performances from concert bands, jazz bands, orchestras, choirs, and auxiliary units. The weekend also includes an exciting street parade competition through downtown Gatlinburg, where ensembles perform before cheering crowds and expert judges. Awards ceremonies are held throughout the festival to recognize outstanding performances and achievements.
