As soon as you enter this Gatlinburg rental, you are greeted in the living area by a wide window area that magnificently frames the view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg. The Ober Gatlinburg tram travels overhead near the deck area for excellent views of the tram, day and night. The comfortable living room features relaxing and upscale leather furnishings, 55” flat screen TV, main level deck access, and a crackling stone accented gas log fireplace.

Adjoining the living room is the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. With upgrades such as stainless appliances, under cabinet lighting, and granite countertops, making a delicious meal while on vacation will definitely be a real treat. Nearby, you also have access to the custom kitchen island with bar seating for four people, with the kitchen and dining areas adorned with barn lights and beams overhead.

Located on the main level of Chalet a le Conte is one amazing master bedroom. The bedroom has a luxurious king bed and custom headboard that features eclectic décor, flat screen TV, an en-suite full bath with an oversized shower, and double sinks.

Venture down to the lower level of Chalet a le Conte and you’ll find the second living/game room area. This stunning living room features a 55” flat screen TV, surround sound and internet connectivity for streaming Netflix, cozy sleeper sofa, and access to the lower level deck, where you’re treated to rocking chairs, swing, patio seating, and a bubbling outdoor hot tub with views of the Smoky Mountains.

Located just off of this living area you’ll find the wonderful recreation room. This fun-filled space offers a pool table plus a wet bar. It’s the perfect place to gather with friends and family for hours of entertainment and fun.

Down on the second floor of Chalet a le Conte, you’ll find two additional bedrooms. The first is a second master suite. This relaxing and beautiful bedroom provides you with a king bed, flat screen TV, and a luxurious en-suite full bath featuring a stone-accented jetted tub, oversized shower, and dual sinks for added convenience.

The second bedroom on this floor offers a comfortable king bed and a flat-screen TV. There’s also a third full bath located nearby on this level as well.

We were absolutely blown away with our stay. The house was well maintained and clean. Plenty of room for our family to be comfortable. We loved using the hot tub to unwind after fun filled days. Location is great and close to all attractions in the area. Momma bear and her cubs hung around the area which was so fun to see. We can’t wait to come back.

This cabin truly felt like home away from home. The decor was very beautiful and made things feel cozy. The little Christmas tree beside the fireplace was an unexpected pleasant surprise! The view was incredible! We loved seeing the Ober Gatlinburg tram go back-and-forth and it was so pretty lit up at night. The downstairs area was so spacious and a great place to hang out with family members and play pool. The bathroom in the main bedroom downstairs was unbelievable! The jetted tub was an awesome way to relax after a long day of walking, shopping, and sightseeing ! I Highly recommend this cabin, and I am already looking forward to our next visit! Also please note there are bears in the area. Keep your doors locked! We had muddy paw prints on our vehicle!

It exceeded our expectations! The chalet is beautifully furnished, the sunrise views from the upper deck spectacular, the kitchen amply furnished for a wide variety of cooking, and the beds and baths pretty stunning. All was clean. Bear sightings are common. The curvy roads are daunting. We chose not to travel them in the dark. If you prepare most meals in the chalet, you can save a chunk of money by not eating in restaurants.

This is a beautiful chalet, well-appointed & comfortable. The kitchen is equipped for easy meal preparation. The view from the upper deck gives a panorama of the mountains. Sunrises are spectacular! Bear sightings are common. Pamper yourself and others with a stay. Be aware there several curves to reach the chalet. You may decide to spend more time there than make frequent trips up and down the mountain. Bring groceries & save money on meals out!

I had forgotten to leave a review because I was not sure how, but I want to say what a nice cabin this is and how much I appreciated the sunrise view. We also enjoyed seeing the tram go over us and of course, the BEARS visit here often. Be sure to lock your car doors. We had no trouble from them of course. We love the view and the nice interior. What a neat staircase railing this cabin has and the downstairs master bathroom was fought over. It is a nice location also. Thank you Bear Tracts for making this time with family so enjoyable. I also appreciated there were no steps for the front of the cabin and the main floor bedroom for my husband and I. Thank you kindly. I think another family vacation here would be nice.

If you are like my family and love bears, this is the place for you. We saw 12 bears in the first 24 hours. Do make sure to lock your car doors and the trash cans as well. The bears in this area are so smart and can open almost anything.
The cabin is roomy, clean and beautify decorated. Our kids loved the downstairs living room and pool table. The beds are really comfy and a king is always nice. The kitchen is great for cooking and large enough to have multiple people working in it. We also enjoyed seeing the Ober tram car going up and down. This is definitely the best cabin we had yet!

Exactly as the pictures show. Easy to rent from. Physically close to the main strip. beautiful view. Observed many bears in the area and even one sliding in the wet grass, in the backyard. Very quiet and relaxing.

This place has it all. It was an amazing and relaxing place to call home for the week. The views are amazing at all points of the day. We even got to see a bear out on the road in front of the cabin. Literally the only negative thing I can say is the turn onto the road is a **** design. Not the owners fault at all but if your going to rent just remember your going to be driving in some steep mountains.

We decided at the last minute to take a road trip to the Smoky Mountains for spring break. There were a lot of rental houses available given we were less than a week from check-in. We chose this one for the location and weren't disappointed. We had easy access to everywhere we wanted to be.

The house has great views (if you are up early, the sunrise over the mountain is beautiful), the beds were comfy and my kids enjoyed having the downstairs space as their own hang out space.

There are a couple of small downsides I feel I should mention. First, the towels need an upgrade. The ones provided were very small and very thin. Second, the house and the kitchen in particular needs a deep clean. Nothing terrible or anything we couldn't deal with, but you can tell its been a while since anyone really cleaned the space those forgotten spaces, like the utensil drawer in the kitchen.

Overall we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place for its location, views and space for the teens to call their own.

Seeing the tram (many times!) from the porch is so much fun! The view here is fantastic and the cabin is very comfortable! Love the bathrooms and the staircase to downstairs is very cool! Also the kitchen is really nice! There’s something special about wintertime in the Smokies and being close to Ober Gatlinburg is a huge plus! We loved seeing the tram lit up at night. That was very cool to see. Everything was comfortable here — love the game room area too!

That view! Mountains, twinkling lights of Gatlinburg at night, the tram overheadyou just have to sit and take it all in. Plus, we saw several bears. It was fun watching them from the deck.
The cabin was clean and comfortable with lovely rustic touches like live edge wood and a rock waterfall in the downstairs jetted tub. Bear Tracts was easy to work with and offered great communication. We will use them again, and hope to be back to Chalet A Le Conte!
