See the Smokies from our "Point Of View" in this charming one-bedroom cabin. Point of View is an ideal destination for a honeymoon, anniversary, family vacation, or romantic getaway. Enjoy views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the holiday fireworks from your private deck or while grilling your favorites on the charcoal grill. At night, stargaze from the hot tub and watch the twinkling lights of downtown Gatlinburg. Stay entertained with a multi-cade featuring your favorite classics, or stream a movie on the flat-screen smart TV.
Living Room
Sit back and relax in the living room featuring an electric fireplace, a couch (sleeper sofa), a comfy recliner, and a flat screen TV! In the evenings, flip on the TV for a bit of entertainment or cuddle up by the fireplace for a romantic night in the Smokies. For some added fun, play your favorite arcade classics on the multi-cade, featuring 60+ games.
Kitchen
Step into the fully equipped kitchen for meal prep, coffee refills, snack attacks, and cookie time. Fully equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher plus cutlery, cookware, mugs, dinnerware, and more.

Exploring the great outdoors, shopping in town, and playing at the cabin will certainly leave everyone ready for bed each day. The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, a flat screen TV, and a private bathroom entrance. There is a queen sleeper sofa and an ottoman that folds out into a cot in the living room, with a bathroom entrance for additional sleeping space.

Before I talk about the cabin I want to talk about the road leading up to the cabin. Now I know it's been discussed before and concerns sort of 'dismissed' by owner responses; but if you are from a flat state like I am (southern louisiana) this drive up to the cabin is butt clenching. Even after a week of driving up and down it; it still made us nervous. I am sure for those that live in this area or states like this; it's no big deal. While we were there I saw big trash trucks and Uhauls coming up the road and I was shocked. Kuboes to them lol. Thankfully the cabin is located on a very sparsely traveled road and very quiet. We never had to interact with a vehicle coming the opposite way we were on those last few roads before the cabin. If we did; I honestly don't know what we would have done because the roads of the last 3 turns or so are essentially wide enough for one vehicle.
The road is good and smooth; its just narrow with some sharp steep turns. You do not need 4wd.
Cabin: it was wonderful. Very well equipped and clean. We would have liked a second recliner but I'll digress. Bed was comfy and plenty of storage in the room. Bathroom was large and the shower was decent. Water pressure was ok; but expected of a cabin on a mountain/hill. We bought groceries from a grocery store only a few minutes away and ate at the cabin most of the week. Grocery store also has a Starbucks inside for those interested.
Hot tub was awesome. We used it everyday and loved relaxing in it after a day of exploring.
We saw black bears at the cabin virtually everyday. Cabin is a great location to lots of different things without being too close. We loved the privacy. Bear video!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Point of View cabin. Perfect for 2, cozy and comfortable. The cabin was very clean, modern and had all you need. Exceptional bathroom-loved the hot tub while watching the great view of lights at night. King size bed very comfortable, both slept very good. Special attractions (Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge) close by. Special thanks to Karol & Eric for making our 50th Anniversary getaway so memorable!

It is very close to downtown and view was perfect, parts of downtown and ski mountain. The cabin still has new smell and very clean, just perfect. We did have best bear siting too. We got a visit one morning from Gatlinburg police officer telling us our car had been host to a bear. I forgot to lock the door and a bear opened it, got on passenger seat and stepped to back seat, at least that is were paw prints were, didn't do any damage except leaving paw prints, we were lucky. Don't forget to lock your doors and don't leave food in vehicle. As I was talking to the officer the bear came back and had 3 cubs. She came up to back deck and we got some great pics. So very memorable stay, highly recommend Point of View, best we have ever stayed at in many trips

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! This cabin is in the perfect location. It feels secluded, but its not far at all from Gatlinburg. We LOVED that the cabin was decorated for Christmas. Hot tub was wonderful and the bed was big. Bathroom was so clean and beautiful. My only tiny complaint is the lights from the electronic boxes in the bedroom. It was hard to sleep with all the blue and green lights.

But it doesn't take long to get used to. The smell of the wood as we entered was fantastic. The cabin is kept very clean with everything you need to get your vacation started.
The view is outstanding, especially at night from the hot tub. But it's during the day when the bear comes out. The morning we left for home we watched him climb down the tree in the yard.
Everything was very comfortable and we both got a good night's sleep in the king sized bed.
It is a very short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is just a few miles further. We took advantage of the free attractions offered through Xplorie. Thank you for that.
Matt & April are great hosts who take great care of their guests. Thanks for helping us celebrate our new empty nest.

Beautiful cabin! We had a wonderful stay at your cabin. The cabin is beautiful the king bed was so comfortable and the shower was amazing! We made all are meals in the kitchen and ate on the deck looking out at the beautiful view of the mountains. From the deck you can see The space needle and ober gatlinburg. And when we were sitting on the deck a bear came to visit us! Incredible ! The hot tub was so relaxing very modern clean cabin .

Very Pleasant and Private Rental

Another smaller criticism is that the hot tub had small things floating in it. This is probably not something that is too important to everyone.
The best thing that I loved about this property is the bathroom, which had 2 showerheads. My wife and I were able to take a shower together and save time in the morning.

Our family loved the Point of View cabin! Everything was clean and perfect. The cabin had everything we needed. The views from the balcony were amazing. It was the perfect spot for my morning and afternoon coffee. The cabin included free passes to various activities which came in handy and saved us money on our trip. I highly recommend this cabin! I will be booking with Bear Tracts in the future!

The daytime views of the mountains were awesome but the night time view from the hot tub of downtown Gatlinburg was magical. The trek to the cabin was all you could expect for a mountain cabin and became part of the experience not to mention the quiet and just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, The multicade offered many hours of play for both the kids and the adults and the workstation came in handy when work had to get done. Best part of our stay was on day 2 when a bear walked thru the yard as we watched from the deck. Thank you for the free adult passes to several attractions. They helped take the guess work out of deciding what our plans were for the day. Can't wait to come back.
