We rented Raccoon Ridge for our family vacation with 11 adults and 3 kids and had plenty of space. We stay in the area often and this was by far the best location we've had. Just 10 min to Pigeon Forge and not much further from Gatlinburg. But still felt secluded, in a quiet community with amazing mountain views. My only complaint would be about the cleanliness. When we arrived, there was a whole orange, and some crackers left on the floor under one of the couches. The blankets and shams on the beds were all in need of a good wash. And the floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in some time. Our socks were covered in dirt after walking around the cabin. And the baseboards and walls all needed a good dusting. But other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Our party of 8 adults, a 4 year old and an infant had an amazing experience at Raccoon Ridge! Incredible views from main level porch, big table to accomdate family meals, comfortable beds, several living spaces. Be aware there are 4 levels to this large home, but the 6 bedrooms & queen bunks allowed us to spread out! 15 minutes to Dollywood & DigNZone, 10 minutes to most restaurants, but very quiet and secluded location!

I would rate this property a 4 out of 10. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by several issues during our stay. Most notably, the hot tub was not functioning for the majority of the week. Although the issue was finally resolved the day before our departure, the delay was frustrating. I remained in contact with the property management throughout the week, but the communication was inconsistent—they repeatedly assured me they were working on the issue and would return my calls, though follow-ups were minimal.

Additionally, there was a persistent sewage odor around the exterior of the property, particularly noticeable in the mornings and evenings, which detracted from the overall experience.

To their credit, the management did offer complimentary tickets for our entire group as a gesture of goodwill, which we appreciated. However, given the issues we encountered, I would be hesitant to stay at this property again

Unfortunately, when repairs require specific parts and the involvement of third-party vendors, updates can be limited until the issue is fully resolved—which was the case during your stay. While our team remained in communication, we never want guests to feel like they’re left without answers, and we’ll continue working to improve how we manage expectations during delays.

Regarding the odor you mentioned, we’ve confirmed that the source was not located on our property, though we understand how it may have impacted your experience during certain times of day.

Amazing view. Would rent the same cabin 10/10 times again. Location is perfect for someone who wants to visit gatlinburg and pigeon forge. Good access to bypass roads and seems to be close to both towns. It was really clean..

Cons:
I will say that our coffee maker was not
Cleaned and had an old filter with a little mold in it. I feel like bathroom fans could be cleaned as a few were dusty as well as some other areas. Top bathroom needs to be re-caulked as well.

Overall, I’d say this is my favorite cabin I have stayed in (5 cabin trips In My life). My review is. 9.5 out of 10

The best time with our blended family for my son’s wish trip. The dream connection booked it for us and bear tracts was fabulous working with us. Easy to communicate with the staff. The maintenance team was great when we had to reach out for hot tub troubles. Loved the layout and how cozy the cabin was! It was super close to town which was also fabulous! Tons of memories made here!

Bear Tracks Cabin was a super place for our family get-together. After driving through busy, crowded towns, it was such a relief that the cabin was out away from it all and quiet. Even though there were neighboring cabins, it was still quiet. We loved the view from the deck. The deck seemed to be a favorite place for visiting. We all liked the cabin. I was especially impressed with how well the kitchen was supplied. Plenty of cookware and dishes for a large family.
So glad we were able to stay there.

Our experience at this cabin was Amazing. Everything was in perfect condition and very clean. You can tell this property is very well taken care of. Would recommend this cabin to anybody who wants to stay in the pigeon forge area. Very close by to lots of stores/restaurants and other activities, but at the same time a very peaceful property with a great view of the mountains. Will definitely be going back!

My family and I all enjoyed our 3 night stay in the Bear Tracks cabin in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Location was close enough to the activities to be able to go and enjoy them but not to close that the traffic and noise desturbed us. The fireplace was awesome! Enough parking spaces for my 3 kids and my grand kids.

Beautiful cabin with great mountain views. The wood floors are a little noisy, but other than that a great spot. We had very few issues with the cabin and ones we had we taken care of right way. Would definitely stay here again even if for no other reason than the attentiveness of the management.

Overall the cabin has a fantastic view from the decks and the place was generally clean. Some minor maintenance issues from past visitors (damage to hot tub for one), but the cabin had everything we needed to get away for the week. Kids loved the pool table and arcade game and there were enough rooms for everyone to enjoy. Layout on the bottom floor was a little odd with bunk beds outside of the bedrooms proper so the young ones sleeping there had to be coordinated with the people sleeping in bed rooms to avoid interruptions as they passed by at night or in the morning. These are minor details since the overall visit was a great one and would would strongly consider coming back someday. The staff were responsive when we reported our aforementioned concerns and friendly. Their email updates in advance kept us on track to have everything we needed for our visit.

House was fine, needs some repairs and hot tub needs to be updated. There was a terrible septic/sewer smell when outside of the house. Contacted the management team about this and absolutely no help or resolution was given. The smell ruined our time on the back deck and made the hot tub unusable since the smell was especially strong in the evening. Part of the reason to be at a cabin in the mountains is for the view - which we were unable to enjoy due to the septic smell.

We enjoyed 3 days in this cabin. Everything was provided as described. Property was in good condition. We had a family group of 15 mixed family members. Adequate rooms / beds for all and more. Pool table was used quite a bit but we mostly were out of the cabin visiting local sights. Steep drive to get to cabin but paved and all was good.

All the amenities of home plus a breathtaking view out the back patio. Prime location for quick access to all the attractions and entertainment Gatlinburg is famous for.
