Description
Luxury spacious cabin with outdoor grill area overlooking downtown Gatlinburg. Views of the Smokies and downtown out of every north-facing window. Relax in your own private indoor pool with a big bay door that opens to the deck overlooking downtown. Sit just outside the pool in the hot tub and listen to the sounds of the Smoky Mountains.
Access to 3 Chalet Village clubhouses, which include a seasonal swimming pool and a workout room. Also comes with the Chalet Village discount program for local vendors.
Top Level
The 3rd-level bedroom is the largest, covering the entire footprint of the home, providing ample space to spread out. A king bed and fireplace with your own reading area, dual vanities, and a huge walk-in tile shower with dual shower heads. A wall of windows provides a unique view of downtown and the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Main Level
The main-level king bedroom also has a wall of windows, offering evening twinkles of the downtown lights and daytime views of the Smokies. With its own full bathroom and a shower/tub combo.
You will find the fully equipped kitchen on this level, as well as the Dining area and the 2-story great room with a large-screen TV, fireplace, and a sleeper sofa for additional guests.
Lower Level
On the lowest level of the home, you will enter the media area with arcade games, including Golden Tee and a stand-up multi-cade featuring a multitude of gaming classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede, Donkey Kong, and many more. In addition, there is theater seating and a large-screen TV for watching movies or the big game!
From here, you can enter the indoor heated pool through a secured and alarmed door. Open the bay door to open your experience to the sounds and sights of the Smokies. If the muscles are tired after a long day of hiking or shopping, you can step through the bay door to relax in the hot tub.
Outside:
In front of the house, beside the paved parking, is our grill area. The Chef can look out over downtown and the Smokies while searing your steaks to perfection. Feel free to take your meal inside or use the outdoor picnic area to enjoy the surroundings. Sit around the fire-pit and enjoy the fresh air of the Smoky Mountains!

We stayed here for 6 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place! The views were amazing, place was clean, beds were comfortable and our three kids enjoyed a lot of time in the pool! We had an issue with one of the games working and they sent maintenance out right away to address it. We would definitely stay here again!

Not matter if it’s two guest or up to the eight this place can accommodate. Just got back from staying at Rainwater Falls and the place is spacious, beautiful sights, relaxing pool, and a steaming hot tub that makes the adventurous and strenuous day melt away. Would definitely recommend this place to stay, and would most likely go back when I can.

Cons: It is located on steep hills. You will need AWD to get up the hills or you will be stuck at the bottom of the hill so make sure to rent or drive the proper vehicle. We found ourselves stuck beside another car who had someone to drive them up to their cabin . We were not so lucky with our late arrival so we hiked up the hills in which a drive that would have took a min, took us an hr on foot with what we could carry.
That’s our fault so I’ll still give the cabin 5 stars.
The open windows have a lot of light which is good and shows the view of the city but I’m paranoid so it would have been nice to close the large open areas with shades .
Pros:
- The cabin is literally minutes away from the Gatlinburg strip.
- A theater/game room. Nice black leather theater seats. Big screen to watch movies.The nostalgia games of pac man. An Air hockey game table would make this even better. But it was a nice room.
- The indoor pool, my sister tried it and was unable to heat it up but maybe that was user error. She still enjoyed relaxing in the pool.
- The fireplaces. The one in living room and upstairs one in the bedroom was very relaxing
- The convenience of 3 bathrooms. One in the pool area and one in each bedroom.
- Having available utensils in the kitchen, with dish soap to clean the dishes and laundry packets for the washers to wash your clothes. Also available mini shampoo/conditioner and Bodywash in the bathrooms.
- Upstairs the his and her bathroom has his and her shower heads in a large shower. Showering back and forth under both was wonderful.
- The mountain views on the bottom floor with rocking chairs and the top floor were nice.
- The book shelf with books and comfortable chair to read a book upstairs in the corner of the room was a nice touch.
- After finding a last minute rental we were able to enjoy the Ripley’s aquarium which was close.
- Customer service was polite

Thanks for your review and staying with us. This road is located on a well paved road wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass each other and maintained by the city. We understand not everyone is adapted to driving in the mountains but we have had many 2WD vehicles make it to this cabin with no issues. We appreciate the feedback on the shades. The back of the cabin is not open to any other cabins and looks out over the city and into the smokies. The view is stunning and we couldn't "bear" to hide it. The only way people could see into these windows would be to use a telescope from across the entire city on another mountain top. We are glad that the multitude of pros far outweighed the 2 difficulties you had. Thanks again for staying with us!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was clean and the views were amazing. Everything you need is available. Not far from the main drag. Took the trolley into town so no need to look for parking. The parking was a little tough if you’re driving a truck but managed to make the best of it. The roads to the cabin are a bit scary so we avoided going out at night. The pool, the hot tub the game room were perfect for unwinding at night. Would absolutely stay here again.

From the moment we stepped in the door we knew we had picked the right place to spend the week. The cabin was more than we expected. The pool was a perfect amenity that kept our 10 and 15 yr old entertained. The location of the cabin was great as well. The view of Gatlinburg at night from the 3rd floor is insane!! Rainwater Falls is an absolute dream! One of the best places we have ever stayed! The entire Bear Tracts team is absolutely AMAZING to work with! This home is gorgeously landscaped, well taken care and has everything you could need to make your stay memorable. The location is excellent and the views, both day and night, are mesmerizing! The outdoor space and parking is well kept, complete with picnic table, grill & fire area. Keep your car doors locked though as we did have a bear visitor in our van! Mr. Bear left when no food was found and left only muddy paw prints behind!
The pool and hot tub were perfect for our family! There is a bathroom and large shower space within the pool room, so you do not have to worry about making a wet mess in other spaces. The proximity of the hot tub and pool to each other is not to be overlooked as a major bonus!! Remember to bring your pool towels!
The beds were comfortable and extra pillows were also available. Plenty of space to hide away luggage and hang or put away clothing, etc., is available in both rooms. The dual shower heads and giant shower space in the master was a fun extra for our little guys! Each space was very clean with gorgeous views from every angle (even the view from the toilet is top notch, ha!).
The kitchen is well stocked and pots and pans are in excellent condition with no scratches or flaking of surfaces. The knives were actually sharp! Cutting boards, dishes, cups, and variety of utensils are also provided. The refrigerator was very clean and like new.
Tip: The water takes a while to warm up in all locations (to be expected), and the kitchen sink you need to pull the handle toward you for hot water. But once it gets hot, its HOT!
The Team at Bear Tracts, notably Tim and Elliot, were on top of any and everything we had questions on or needed assistance with. Do not hesitate to reach out as the office agents also provided wonderful recommendations and support.

Stayed here for the week while we explored the tourist attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The cabin was well played out and the perfect amount of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub on the porch. Unfortunately the pool was a little to cold and didn't enjoy that as much as we wanted to. But we still had a great stay! Will definitely recommend to friends.

The pool was clean and warm, our girls lived in it the whole week! The hot tub and video games were great too! It was easy access to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We couldn't be happier with Rainwater Falls. The house was spotless when we arrived. The views are spectacular with Gatlinburg just below. The indoor pool was great and the theater room was perfect. The upstairs bedroom was spectacular utilizing the whole foor with a huge walk-in shower. Main floor kitchen and great room was beautiful. My wife and I would definitely rent Rainwater Falls on our next trip to Gatlinburg. I highly recommend this house with the short commute to the Gatlinburg strip. 5 stars!

There were a couple of items that weren't working. The waterfall for the pool, which we were looking forward to, and the Golden Tee game. We really enjoyed the game the first two days and then that TV went out. Fireplace in living room wasn't working, either. That's the negative. This cabin is nice and in a very good location. We go every year and this is one of the nicer ones we have stayed in and definitely the best location.

The cabin was easy to get to...definitely up a steep road, but very doable. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean. We were provided with all things listed. The pool was clean and working in good condition. Our family with small kids had a great time. There is a bear bath in the yard and it’s cool to see the visiting bears. Be careful, but it’s worth seeing. It was a huge highlight of our stay.

We rented this cabin for family ski trip. We had 4 adults and 3 children (ages 6,9,12). There was plenty of room. The location of the cabin was really close to Ober Mountain and downtown Gatlinburg. The road leading to the cabin is curvy and steep but it is paved and we had no problems getting there. The home was very clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy. The view is fantastic! Pool, hot tub and arcade games were lots if fun. On a side note....don’t waste your time ( long waits) and money on the Tram ride to Ober Mountain. There is a cab service that will take you/pick you up for about 20 dollars for 5 + people and even less for fewer people.

This cabin is beautiful with great views. We had 6 people in our group, 2 teenagers, and there was plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing if they wanted to. We were told by the next door neighbor and the pool guy that this is a great location if you want to see bears. So we definitely want to return here when the weather is warmer. I have rented several different cabins in the past and this is by far the best cabin we have stayed in. FYI, we went 2 days after Christmas and apparently this is the busiest week of the year for the area. I have been to Gatlinburg/PF several times and had never been when there were so many people. We still had a wonderful time and the cabin was perfect.

This house was perfect for our family of four! Everything was clean and well stocked. The instructions prior to arrival and departure were very clear and there were no surprises. Location was exceptional for easy access to downtown Gatlinburg and the State Park. Our kids LOVED the indoor pool and we saw multiple bears even in the bear tub! Would definitely recommend. One suggestion to make it even better would be bar stool height chairs on the balconies to see the amazing view unobstructed.

We absolutely loved our stay. Cabin was very clean and organized. It was nice having the private indoor pool but it was a little small; however, perfect for kids to enjoy. One big downside for us was that the was only one kitchen table with four chairs. Our family was of 7, some had to stand to eat. Possibly adding bar stools to the island in the kitchen and moving the living room sofa may help. None the less we had a great time and would recommend. Best part we saw 2 adult bears and 4 cubs right in front our cabin. Priceless.

I did not like/understand why there's only a table for 4 people if you can sleep 8 guests. We are a family of 7 and 3 people ate standing in the kitchen. Otherwise had a great time. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect place in the mountains. Love how close and easy it is to get to Ober. Maintenance was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Cabin was clean. Downstairs was great for a day in with a heated indoor pool, hot tub, video game, golden tee golf game and media area perfect for a family movie night. We absolutely recommend!!!!

We visited this perfectly kept cabin with another family! The cabin was beautiful with great views, very nice accommodations! The only issues we had were there wasn’t any pot holders but this was quickly fixed with a couple new ones dropped off the following day after we notified the management. The parking was a tight squeeze and will not hold more than two full size SUV’s, but not a huge deal at all. Also, the trash can in the kitchen could be a slight bit larger but other than that these are super minor complaints and would never keep us from coming here again! The pool and hot tub were amazing and kids loved them!

We were not able to stay our entire stay due to outside circumstances. The home was beautiful, easy to check in and check out. There were a few things that needed a touch of TLC but that is probably just me paranoid over a security deposit. Communication was easy and the bed was comfortable. The hot tub probably could use a screen on the opposite end of the porch but all in all, it was a good hot tub, just didn't feel super private as the neighbors had a direct line of sight. The pool... excellent! Added to our list to return! The driveway is a little awkward for folks like me who are used to living on flat land - no big deal, just be aware and be careful.5 stars for sure!

My family and I had an amazing stay at rainwater falls. My kids absolutely loved having their own private pool! The place was very clean and neat. The only thing my husband and I thought was missing was a door for the upstairs bedroom and loft area. It was not private at all. But next time we would probably take downstairs bedroom and let the kids have that upstairs area. We did see a bear coming up from the mountains on the side of the house and it climbed in back of neighbors truck and was going through their bags. The kids loved it.

This was one of our all time favorite visits to the Mountains. I can’t say enough good things about this rental. It was spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable. My teen boys had so much fun with all the recreational living spaces. We saw bears every day! One morning while drinking coffee out on the deck there was a cub in the tree watching me. We sat out there together for a while until he climbed down. It was honestly hard to leave that cabin to venture out each day. We were just up the hill from all the attractions so the location was ideal. We definitely spent a lot more time at the cabin than we would have on other trips. I give this rating five stars and well worth the price!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this cabin is! My kids were in heaven with having a private pool and my son opted to sleep in the game room/ theater room. My kids have requested to make this a new family tradition to stay here. I would highly recommend booking through bear tracts. The owners are very responsive and informative. You even have an app you can download with customized helpful information and suggestions for your trip. Our favorite restaurant was The Peddler, so delicious! This cabin has the best view of Gatlinburg and to look down at night is just beautiful. The location is perfect and we even got to see a few bear cubs. Loved every minute of being here. Will definitely be booking through them again in the future.

We are a large family of 7 with 5 young kids 10 and under. We enjoyed our stay here at "rainwater falls" as our first time coming to Tennessee. We booked, not knowing what to expect and already looked at cabins through bear tracts again (but in pigeon forge instead as we enjoyed being in pigeon forge with young kids much more than Gatlinburg with the lack of parking/lots of walking and traffic.)
Private, cozy and comfortable cabin, even saw 3 bears. Kids could be loud and not bother people too close.
Cabin was very clean with every thing that we needed. Plenty of toilet paper and dish soap for our 3 night stay provided. Arcade games were a hit with our kids. We came in Feb from Wisconsin so even with snow here in TN, it was still warmer than back home and felt like spring to us. Pool was too cold for us (says heated but im not sure it is or maybe we just couldn't figure it out) but we all enjoyed the hot tub every day. Loved the doubly locked door to keep our kids out and safe.

We chose this cabin for our stay because the forecast originally said rain most of the days we were visiting the mountains. We ended up being able to use discounts to Dollywood, Ripleys Museum AND aquarium, and then in the evening we relaxed in the hot tub while the kids swam in the pool. A few days in this cabin gave us the recharge and family time we needed.

From the time we pulled up and then stepped into the home, we knew it was going to be a great 3 night getaway. The home was so clean and inviting. We stayed busy yet relaxed and never did venture into town. The pool was perfect for the kids to get in a nice swim before summer hits. The arcade games allowed for a fun night of family competition. The theater allowed us to relax and catch up on our movies. The hot tub was perfect, especially during the morning hours when it was still cool outside. The firepit area was so clean and perfect for making smores. We did bring a blow up mattress for the kids to sleep next to us upstairs. They loved sleeping next to the colorful fireplace. We did bring our own pool towels and toys/goggles. We will definitely book again!

This cabin far exceeded all our expectations!! The booking, check-in, check-out process and everything in between was so easy! The cabin is beautiful and the indoor pool/media room was the icing on the cake. I love that the pool had a lock cod,e as well as an alarm. We have a 2 year old and knowing she would not be able to access the pool made us sleep easier at night. The amenities of cabin were so amazing our family didn't want to leave the cabin. The views from all 3 balconies are breathtaking. The view of sunrise over the smoky's was picture perfect. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The beds were extremely comfortable and the fireplaces created that warm cabin feel! We were minutes from everything we wanted to do (hiking, skiing, and activities in the town). To top if all off our Bear Tracts Vacation Cabins representative, April was the BEST! We arrived the day of my daughter's 10th birthday and she has a dozen balloons awaiting her arrival. Her face

Great views, quiet neighborhood, couple miles from downtown gatlinburg, or gatlinburg bypass to get to pigeon forge easier. kids love the indoor pool and hot tub. great get away as we're avid disney folks but skipping out on that for a while with covid. will stay at this exact cabin again in the future!

Beautiful, clean house as advertised. Kids loved the pool. Amazing location just 7 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg down the twisting mountain roads. Incredible views especially from top deck. Saw a bear everyday (in back and front of house)- which is awesome but need to be alert. Had some minor maintenance issues, but Matt was extremely responsive and had them fixed. Would book again.

After being stuck at home for months, we were eager to get away for a few days. This cabin was the perfect place for our escape. There was plenty to do at the cabin from the pool to the hot tub to the media room. The views from the balcony were amazing especially at sunrise. The beds were all comfortable including the pull out sofa beds. While in the mountains, the cabin wasn't far from the parkway either so it was easy to grab anything we forgot to bring.
While the cabin was amazing, here are just a couple of items to note that I would have found helpful to know. First, the upper bedroom is open to main floor kind of like a loft. Just keep it in mind if you have someone that snores or an early riser. Second, the grilling area is wonderful but it is a charcoal grill. I prefer a charcoal grill over gas, but it does mean you'll need to bring extra supplies if you want to do any grilling.

We absolutely loved this cabin! Very easy checking in and departing. The owner kept everything you needed to know about the property in an easy to navigate app. The views from the balconies were beautiful and the location was very convenient to the main strip. The entire property was well maintained and very clean. Loved it!

We had a great experience under the crazy circumstances. This was a backup trip after our trip out of the country was cancelled due to COVID-19. The indoor private pool and the hot tub were perfect for us to enjoy the stay at home order��. The views of the Smoky Mountains were amazing, unfortunately because the National Parks were closed we weren’t able to do any hiking. We made the best out of our time. One of the highlights of the trip was the Momma black bear and 4 cubs on the property. 3 of the cubs actually on our front porch. I would definitely come back here again. Matt, owner, was very responsive. Overall wonderful place to stay- very clean and cared for.

The cabin was ready to go when we arrived! They made the arrival easy and we did not have to go to an office or anything like that. It was done through email. The views were hands down one of the best we have ever had in Gatlinburg. The property Management Matt and April were very professional and took care of everything. This cabin far exceeded all our expectations!! The booking, check-in, check-out process and everything in between was so easy! The cabin is beautiful and the indoor pool/media room was the icing on the cake. I love that the pool had a lock cod,e as well as an alarm. We have a 2 year old and knowing she would not be able to access the pool made us sleep easier at night. The amenities of cabin were so amazing our family didn't want to leave the cabin. The views from all 3 balconies are breathtaking. The view of sunrise over the smoky's was picture perfect. The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need! The beds were extremely comfortable and the fireplaces created that warm cabin feel! We were minutes from everything we wanted to do (hiking, skiing, and activities in the town). To top if all off our Bear Tracts Vacation Cabins representative, April was the BEST! We arrived the day of my daughter's 10th birthday and she has a dozen balloons awaiting her arrival. Her face lit up not only from the amazing cabin, but from the balloons and recognition of her special day! I highly recommend this cabin as well as Bear Tract Vacation Cabins. This cabin has spoiled us and we can't possibly imagine staying anywhere else when visiting the Smokys!

Family of 5, three kids ages 10, 9, and 7. The cabin was pristine!! Nothing out of place when we arrived. My kids LOVED the arcade and the pool! My oldest insisted on pulling on the sleeper sofa downstairs and sleeping there. My husband and I loved the hot tub and the amazing shower in the Master bath!! We realized that the upstairs fireplace remote needed batteries and we were never put out to get those or anything else while there!! Batteries were replaced while we were out one day and the owners were nothing but kind and gracious to us our entire stay! The ONLY thing that I could imagine that would make this better would be bathrobes! That November air is COLD after getting out of the hot tub and a robe would have been AWESOME!!

The whole family loved the stay here, I recommend just staying at the cabin and enjoying the place. We had previously bought tickets prior to getting there for attractions on the strip of Gatlinburg and we had to pry our kids out of the cabin because they were enjoying just being there. Our stay in this cabin was nothing short of awesome! It has everything you could need and more. The pool area is beautiful and unique. The movie/game room is a blast. Matt and April were great to work with and went above and beyond helping us even order dinner one night. We also got to see a momma bear and 4 cubs from the deck!
