As soon as you pull up to this location, you know this is not like any other place you have stayed in the Smokies. Located in the valley just 10 minutes outside of Pigeon Forge and surrounded by mountains. Walk through the front door to find upscale finishes, including custom flooring and counters, and a dual-sided fireplace between the kitchen and living area. Leather furniture in the living area. Step out back and invite yourself into the private heated pool to soak away your problems as the day turns to night. After a long hike, relax in the covered hot tub and then migrate to the firepit to recount the adventures of the day.

Living Room
Relax in the cozy living room — featuring a stone gas fireplace, 2 leather couches, 2 leather armchairs, ottomans, and a big screen TV! Catch up with one another or make plans for the day. And in the evenings, flip on the TV and watch the game.

Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen comes with a stainless-steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. All the cutlery, cookware, mugs, dinnerware, and more that you need for meal prep. Use the island for additional counter space and bar seating to streamline meal service. Create a breakfast buffet and set out a lunch spread with ample dining space.

Bedrooms
Exploring the great outdoors, shopping in town, and playing at the cabin will certainly leave everyone ready for bed each day. There are 2 spacious bedrooms to choose from: a king and a queen, each with a flat-screen TV. Both Bedrooms have large en-suite bathrooms with a vanity seat, so everyone can get ready for morning hikes and evening dinner shows without hassle.

Outdoors:
Sip your morning coffee on the private deck. Grill your favorites and have an afternoon picnic under the covered pavilion. Does hiking and shopping have your muscles aching... soak them under the stars in the covered hot tub. Last but not least, soak up the sun by your own private outdoor pool.

Pool Season:
Pool is Open from 03/15 to 01/01. The pool will not be heated from 05/16 to 09/30 or after 10/31, except on "holidays". From 03/15 to 05/15 and 10/01 to 10/31, the pool may be heated for an additional fee of $75/day to around 84 degrees. The pool and pool heat will be available for the Thanksgiving holiday and from 12/23 through 01/02. The pool will be closed from 01/03-03/15.

The pool was very nice. The only complaints I really have is that where the house sits very busy road and wasn't relaxing hearing all the traffic up and down the road. But the house was clean , pool was clean and listing as described. There are cows right beside the house so kept hearing them. The homeowners mowing their grass made it kinda hard to hear each other in the pool area. The location is a short drive to island and was easy to find

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Farmhouse, so much that we extended our trip another night! The customer service was top notch from start to finish and communication was fantastic via email, phone and text. We really enjoyed the beautiful view in the morning from the deck and spent a lot of time in the nice pool and hot tub! Its location is great because it feels secluded yet still close to many attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We are a family of 4 and this house was perfect for us but I could also see it being a nice choice for a couples trip. We will be back and highly recommend this property! Keep in mind that there might be more bugs outside than you're used to, especially lots of bees around the pretty flowers. They didn't bother us but took some getting used to on our walks to and from the pool.

So 6 days before our vacation we got a called saying the original cabin was unavailable. They offered the farmhouse. It was nice but I wished they would have disclosed it was next to cows. I guess that is why it’s called the farmhouse but the decor was rustic so I thought that was why. We were supposed to get the pool heated since we didn’t get the original cabin. However it wasn’t heat or cleaned. The pool cleaning company came the day before we had to leave. Kinda wished it was cleaned before we arrived. The hot tub wasn’t cleaned either. However if I had a question it would get answered quickly. The inside was nice and clean. I’d stay there again but would ask the pool and hot tub to be cleaned before the last day.

Loved the house, very clean! Pool was nice but COLD in the latter part of September when we went��. There’s a few leaves in it due to the larger trees hanging overhead but that’s not a big deal. Loved the covered parking & would be great place for motorcyclist. Little hard to see past the trees to get out of, they have a mirror up but it needs to be adjusted to see the traffic better. Loved it overall & would stay again! Also I texted the maintenance to see how to turn the pool light on & they were super quick with a response! It was broken & would need to drain the pool to fix it but again not a big deal to us.

The house was nice! Very clean and had everything we needed. Pool was great and hot tub as well. Pool was freezing so our kids didn’t want to swim much but when they did they had fun. We did have some issues that ruined a couple days of our stay due to things that need to be fixed there. The deck boards have nails and wood sticking out of it. Our daughter was walking barefoot going out to swim and injured her foot which we had to take her to the emergency room for. We had an unexpected hospital bill that took some vacation fund and still owe more on the bill. There’s also many wasp/hornet nests around the deck and hot tub area that we were swarmed by each time we were outdoors. View is misleading as all the trees are to tall and you can’t see much. We still had a great family vacation other than our daughter unfortunately getting injured and making it hard for her to swim or walk around the rest of our stay.

Upon arrival the house looked good. We entered and looked around at the beautiful interior. Heading to the outdoor area we found the pool stained and dirty brown. You could rub the stain off with your finger so it was off putting. I own a pool and this is not normal although the rental company tried to tell us otherwise. There were old pool floats deflated and lying around like trash. The few pool chairs are dirty and disgusting and there is no good outside furnature to be comfortable on while outside. The trees are so overgrown that the pool only gets a few hours of sun during the day too. So, we chose this place only because of the pool and it was very disappointing. The yard hadn't been mowed in weeks and when they did mow they didn't even do part near the pool. Landscaping is dead and not taken care of. Back inside we found a shower door handle about to fall off and so few dishes it's hard for 4 people to eat and extremely low water pressure. The word "upscale" should not be used for this property and we feel we are owed a partial refund.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're glad you enjoyed the interior of the property upon arrival and appreciate your feedback. I’d like to address your concerns to clarify a few points.

Our pool company visits the property twice a week, and the discoloration in the water is due to hard water stains. While it may appear that some of the marks can be wiped away, our pool company has inspected and tried to address this but confirmed they are stains, not dirt. We understand how this might have been off-putting and are working on solutions to mitigate the impact of hard water.

Regarding the deflated pool floats, we apologize for this oversight. These were left by the previous guest for future use and missed during our departure clean. We've already addressed this with our cleaning team to ensure they are more thorough in checking under the deck and surrounding areas.

In response to your concerns about the yard and outdoor area, our landscaping is on a regular rotation, but with unpredictable weather—whether rain or drought—the growth of grass and plants can vary. This sometimes results in faster growth than expected between scheduled visits. That said, we’ve already had a landscaper trim the bushes and top the trees to ensure more sunlight reaches the pool area, and we’re addressing the missed section of mowing near the pool to prevent this in the future.

For the issues you experienced inside, such as the shower door handle, dishes, and water pressure, we have alerted our maintenance team, and these concerns will be addressed promptly for future guests.

Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience on your next stay.

The home and property grounds are beautiful. The inside of the Farmhouse is just as the pictures show. Everything is clean, beautiful, and organized inside. The pool was a big hit with my husband and the girls. The Farmhouse is close to everything and there is even a Kroger and Publix a couple of miles down the road. My husband enjoyed sitting in the spa in the mornings after a swim and watching TV. We sat outside on the master bedroom deck every morning and had our coffee. We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the single ticket offers on the different parks/entertainment. We had an issue with the spa jets not working the first night there; however, maintenance emailed me that they would be out to check it and changed out the entire button panel. Worked perfectly after that. The pool guy came and cleaned the pool on Thursday and gave us a courtesy knock to let us know he was there and what he was doing. The only negative (but it would definitely not keep us from booking again) would be that the outside house and property need some maintenance. We had to wipe all of the spider webs off of the deck chairs to use them, there are huge spiders and spider webs on the porches and around the spa. The weeds were growing up through the stairs to the pool/spa. We tried to use the pool light our last night there, but they would not come on. Maintenance tried to help us get them on via phone, but he stated the breaker must have tripped. I finally gave up. I think that maintenance should be checking the property after each guest stay to ensure appliances, pool, spa, etc. are working properly. The inside handle to the shower in the master bathroom was very loose and about to come off. When you are on vacation you do not want to have to keep calling maintenance with little issues. As I stated, this would not deter us from staying here again. Everyone that we had to contact was very quick to respond. We had an amazing time!

If you don’t like driving up steep mountains, this is your place. Very easy access and short drive to the strip. Customer service and maintenance staffs were awesome! The only negative I would have is the water pressure is not that great. We enjoyed our stay.

We just stayed 5 days in this wonderful little farmhouse, my whole favorite thing was to swim and see the cows during our stay. My youngest child 1, and toddler 3, loved running back and forth on the back porch. The kitchen was fully stock with everything we needed to make a great home cooked meal. The property managers responded quickly to text messages. We cannot wait to stay again. Con: Difficult getting out of the driveway, could only use the north entrance for safety reasons, as it was the easy to get pasted the shrubs and see oncoming traffic-as people sped down that road.

The house was perfect for our family! The pool was perfect, the view was fantastic! The location was ideal and close to all the things! We will be staying there again for sure!
A few things that could be improved, the trees at the front of the house made it hard to see when pulling out of the driveway. The bedding in the master needed updating as the sheets were slightly to small. Lastly, the water had a bad smell, almost like sulfur.
Overall, we loved our week at the Farmhouse and will definitely be renting it again!

We recently stayed in this lovely farmhouse. It was very clean and the layout was wonderful for our family. The weather was horrible during our stay, but we did get to enjoy the pool, but only for one day. The kitchen was wonderful and we definitely enjoyed the gazebo and outdoor grill. The beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony (even in the rain). The only negative aspects were one of the bathrooms had no water pressure in the sink. We called and informed maintenance. They came out promptly, but the problem was the faucet so it couldn't be fixed. The other issue was the driveway. It is impossible to see oncoming traffic because of the decorative trees. The trees look great so I would suggest a traffic mirror because it is really dangerous.

As advertised new Farmhouse is in a country setting including a nearby active farm and cattle. Private and very comfortable house with the expected amenities. The Farmhouse is a beautiful home. Close to attractions but far enough out to feel like you are in the country. The setting is beautiful and the inside of the house is gorgeous. The kitchen and bathrooms are spectacular! The only issue would be the driveway. It is very difficult to see oncoming traffic when trying to leave.

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. It's modern, comfortable, and quiet. If your bag is the crazy mess that is Pigeon Forge/Parkway, it's only 10 minutes away, but everything is quiet and peaceful here. We loved our cow neighbors!

The only thing we'd add is a mirror across the road on the driveway exit. Cars come flying over the blind hill to the west and decorative shrubs made it hard to see getting out.

This home was a safe place for our toddler to have a great time playing with his toys and for me and my husband to relax and enjoy the views, pool, and hot tub. We enjoyed our cow neighbors who usually came up to the fence while we were outside. It was a quick drive to get to Wears Valley/Townsend for groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed the Keurig for morning coffee and liked the layout of the home. We didn’t need a thing from the owners/property manager while we were there, but they made sure to let us know how to get in touch with them should we need assistance. We enjoyed eating breakfast nearby at Grandmother’s Kitchen - the ladies there were so kind to our son. It was easy to access the park through the Metcalf entrance from this home, which was great because the park was where we spent most of our time. My only suggestion/criticism is it’s dicey to pull out of the driveway as the greenery obstructs your view of the road from either side. We had to adjust our side view mirrors each time to make sure it was safe to pull out. This was a little nerve wracking, especially with a child in the car.

Our experience was perfect. We love Gatlinburg and come at least once a year some times twice and have never stayed in same place twice always like trying new places and areas. We really loved the farmhouse and my husband even said best one we have stayed in yet and we have been coming for 15+ years. We are definitely going to stay here again. Maybe make it the one we always stay at. The only
Bummer was the pool wasnt open but it was going to be open in next couple weeks. Next time we will

What a beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close enough to everything that you don't have to drive far, but far enough that you get the feeling of being in the country. There were even cows in a field close by. The home is immaculate. April and Matt are great. There is a pool, but it was a bit cold for that. The hot tub is available too! We had such a wonderful stay in your home! The house was beautiful, very clean and spacious for the four of us.
We enjoyed all of the amenities your home had to offer; the fire pit and hot tub were just perfect for the cool evenings.
We picked up a couple bags of firewood from Publix, which wasn’t far from the house.
The location was awesome! We really appreciated the fact that we were close enough to everything, yet far enough for it to be peaceful and traffic free at the end of the day.

It was a peaceful week away from the stress of life. Watching the steam come off the heated pool in the early morning hours was simply beautiful. I just wish it was heated warmer than 65 degrees it’s locked out at. It was just too cold to use with nights dipping into into the low 40s or below. The day time temps wasn’t enough to keep it warm enough to use. Everything else was outstanding!

The Farmhouse was very new and nice and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The only complaint was that there were a lot of bugs that would get inside the house. The location was awesome. Just a short drive to the main strip where there was a ton of fun things do. Highly recommend.

Our overall stay was great! The Farmhouse was very nice new construction with comfortable accommodations. It is located on the outskirts of town providing a quite location yet close enough to the town and all the fun! The pool is a fun added bonus for lazy days when you want to stay home and relax.

I would recommend blinds or curtains in the living area for privacy at night. We did contact management after our first night to share the strong sewer smell at the use of water from kitchen sink, showers and bathroom sinks. They quickly responded and let us know that there was a “smidge of sulfur” per a representative they had check it out and reassured us it was safe to drink and they had completed a salt treatment the previous week. However to take a shower, use the kitchen or bathroom sinks left the area smelling of rotten eggs and hard to enjoy a shower or cook in the kitchen. I hope this can be resolved for future guest. Management shared that it would come and go but it never left during our entire stay.

Manager's Response

Thank you for your review. We have a water filtration system on this property that is designed to filter out the sulfur smell out of the well water. On occasion due to rain or the lack of, the water table content will change and we need to adjust the system. We have had the water quality tested by a national water company and it has been found safe to drink.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location is very nice. It is fairly remote, yet not far from shopping and restaurants. We loved the view out the back and the friendly cows who ate grass in the nearby field. The pool was clean and overall we are extremely happy with our stay! We would definitely stay here again.

Wanted to share the great experience my wife and I had this past weekend. The scenery and accommodations were breathtaking. We found the kitchen had great space for games and meals
The hottub was clean and the temperature was perfect with little splashing when getting in and out. The bedrooms were well sized and comfortable. The bathrooms had great lighting and large shower space for all of our comfort and needs. We look forward to planning our next trip
