Astra Lumina at Anakeesta
Did you know there is a magical place right here on earth that holds a special connection to the stars? As night falls, the observatory grounds at Anakeesta transform into a celestial experience like no other.
Astra Lumina invites you to set off on an enchanted night walk through 9 distinct zones filled with lustrious light, cosmic projections, and astral soundscapes. Witness the fallen stars release their energy, illuminating the forest and creating a glowing pathway for guests to explore. As the night unfolds, the stars regenerate and rise back into the sky, shining brighter than ever.
This is the 15th experience in the world-renowned Lumina Enchanted Night Walk series and the very first in the United States. Immerse yourself in this breathtaking blend of nature and technology and connect with the stars in a way you’ve never experienced before.
Tickets: Astra Lumina is a special add-on to your full-day Anakeesta admission. Purchase combo tickets in advance online at a discounted rate or at the gate. Annual Pass members receive 20% off Astra Lumina tickets (please call (865) 325-2400 for assistance).
Arrival & Timing:
You may enter Astra Lumina 30 minutes prior to your scheduled ticket time.
Please allow at least 1.5 hours to arrive at Anakeesta, ride the Chondola or Rambler, and check in for your scheduled time.
Weather Policy: Astra Lumina operates in most weather conditions, including rain, snow, and light winds. However, for the safety of guests and staff, operations may be suspended during severe weather.
Refund Policy: Astra Lumina tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, similar to a concert or cinema ticket. If you miss your scheduled show time, we will attempt to reschedule you for another time on the same day based on availability.
Group Pricing: Groups of 20 or more receive a 20% discount.
Accessibility:
Astra Lumina is not wheelchair accessible. The trail is approximately one mile long with uneven terrain and gentle slopes.
Strollers are not permitted unless they are sport or all-terrain models.
Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.
Photography & Lighting:
Photography and video are allowed, but flash photography is prohibited.
The experience includes flashing lights, strobes, lasers, and theatrical fog.
